Local to East Grinstead
Your local bathroom specialist in East Grinstead
East Grinstead lies to the north of our base in Ardingly, and JM Bathrooms Ltd covers the town and the RH19 postcode. We have worked for customers here who have come back to us more than once, including a bath to shower conversion and a more extensive bathroom project for the same family.
The town has a long history, with older buildings around the High Street and a wide range of homes in the surrounding residential areas. Whatever type of home you have, John Martin will visit, listen and give honest, practical advice before you commit to anything.
Older town houses
Homes near the historic centre can have smaller bathrooms, older plumbing and uneven walls that call for careful preparation.
Family homes and estates
Many residential areas have family houses with bathrooms ready for a full renovation, a modern layout and better storage.
Bungalows and retirement homes
Single-storey and retirement properties often benefit from bath to shower conversions that make bathing safer and easier.

Local know-how
Common bathroom problems in East Grinstead homes
Difficulty using the bath
For older relatives, stepping into a bath can be a real risk. A walk-in shower is safer and easier, something one RH19 customer arranged for her 92-year-old mother.
Unexpected leaks
Leaks can damage ceilings and floors quickly. We aim to help at short notice where possible and fix the cause properly.
Dated suites
Older suites and tiling can look tired and be hard to clean. A refit brings a fresh, practical bathroom.
Hard water
Limescale is common across the area. We recommend fittings that are easier to keep clean.
